![]() I need to learn how to use the env_microphone seriously. 'If I could tune the volume really low and quiet, the music would still be playing and it would have that effect, but the player wouldn't physically hear it IRL, so it wouldn't matter if it was playing when it's at a low volume, then when it's pressed it will go back to audible volume and the player could hear the continuously streaming radio music. This pack includes all of the models, textures, and sounds from the HD model pack. I did not steal any of the content from other addons. ![]() It's really frustrating.ĭo you think this could be the same case? 'Since the player is not in distance (I'm not sure what you mean by 'from the player area of the map', I suppose you mean within the skybox or under/near the radio?) of the ambient_generic when the microphone is off, 'supposedly, they can not hear it and it will turn to the same volume thing and then I think it wouldn't have the same radio feeling. Since there were many mods out there that had some of the HD HL:S content, I decided to port from HL:S & put all the content into one addon for Gmod. ![]() Credits: Valve for the sounds and Gearbox for the image in the thumbnail. This addon replaces the beeping death noise with Half-Life 1 HECU Marine dying and pain sounds. I tried the volume thing and it won't go under 1.0, 'not to a value of, 'for example- 0.05, it just mutes the sound (even at 0.9 or any below 1.0) and then when I made an output playing a few seconds after that set the volume back to 10, the song just starts over. HECU Marine Death and Pain Sound Replacement (Half-Life 1) Created by OPGman. If anyone knows a way to do this, 'please help me. Is there a way to do this properly? I tried the volume thing and it won't go under 1.0, 'not to a value of, 'for example- 0.05, it just mutes the sound (even at 0.9 or any below 1.0) and then when I made an output playing a few seconds after that set the volume back to 10, the song just starts over. 'Another way would be to teleport the sound to the skybox or an enclosed room to simulate it turned off and then teleport it back to the radio when it is pressed and turned back 'on'. I mean that I'm trying to make it seem like the radio is turned off when pressed- but really just turn the volume down to simulate shutting it off and then when it's pressed again, it will go back to audible volume (to simulate turning it back on), to make it seem like the radio station has been streaming the ongoing music through the conduit radio while it was 'off'. ![]() I'm trying to make a radio in my map that continues playing music when it's off, to make it seem like the tuned radio station has been spiting the same broadcast for the next few minutes after turning it off. ![]()
